Boston Centers for Youth & Families is the main administrative office for the adult education classes provided by the City of Boston in 11 neighborhoods throughout the City.
Adult students can work toward a diploma or GED at a number of City Community Centers. Call for Center addresses:

Instruction in GED and ESOL classes also includes computer literacy and assistance in developing job readiness and job search skills. Classes are in the mornings, evenings and on weekends. Not all centers offer all classes.
Boston Centers for Youth & Families offers a variety of computer classes and open access hours in Computer Learning Center Labs throughout the City. Access is available for all ages with a reasonably-priced valid BCYF membership card. Special classes and programs are offered at reasonable rates.
GED testing is available in various neighborhoods in the City of Boston throughout the academic year. Call for registration information.
Registration for the GED is Tuesday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Tremont office listed above.
All Boston Centers for Youth & Families buildings are handicapped accessible.

Must be 18 or older.
Cost:
Classes are free. There is a $65 fee required to take the GED exam.
