Services:
The City Mission Society provides limited funding to resolve immediate crises, depending on the availability of funds, for those in the great Boston area.
The program also provides information, referral and advocacy to assist the clients in identifying additional resources. Special attention is given to ex-offenders in transition from prison and their web site may be helpful in locating non-traditional programs for ex-offenders such as a public speaking and leadership training program ("Public Voices").
Requirements / Restrictions:
Must provide verification of need, (ex: a rent bill or a utility shut-off notice).
