Services:

Bay Cove Human Services is a private, not-for-profit corporation that provides specialized treatment to persons with drug and alcohol dependency as well as developmental disabilities. There are a number of different programs (residential, outpatient, day treatment, and educational) operated by Bay Cove. Call the main office number at 617-371-3000 to determine appropriate program.

The programs which focus on addiction are:

The Bay Cove Treatment Center: outpatient treatments include daily dosing with methadone, weekly counseling, medical assessments, & comprehensive substance abuse education.

Service hours:

M - F: 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. There are scheduled dosing hours on weekends.

Requirements / Restrictions:

Must be 18 or older. Target population is opiate-addicted IV drug users. The clinic also provides services to HIV/AIDS patients, pregnant women, dual-diagnosed (mental illness and opiate-addiction). Call 617-371-3030 for intake & program information.

Cost:

Bay Cove will accept most insurance plans or Mass Health.
