AIDS Action is New England’s largest provider of services to people living with HIV/AIDS and populations at risk of infection.
Programs
- Check-In
- information, referrals, along with sensitive and caring ear
- Care Access & Case Management
- AIDS Action staff members work individually with clients to address barriers to good health, such as lack of insurance, homelessness or unstable housing, unmet mental health and substance use needs, and other personal and systemic barriers
- Community Outreach & Education
- AIDS Action conducts outreach and education to communities and populations most affected by HIV in the metro Boston and Lynn areas. They do this through one-on-one education sessions, street outreach, and peer-based models
- Housing
- AAC’s Housing programs help connect people living with HIV/AIDS to a range of housing services and options, including transitional and permanent affordable housing, supportive congregate and scattered site housing, and rental and utility assistance
- Legal Services
- The goal of the department is to advocate for the legal rights of those living with HIV/AIDS in the Boston metropolitan area and throughout Massachusetts
- Youth on Fire
- Youth on Fire (YOF), a program of AIDS Action Committee of Massachusetts, is a drop-in center for homeless and street-involved youth, ages 14-24, located in Harvard Square, Cambridge
