YOU Boston is a workforce development organization that works with young people, ages 14-24, who are court-involved or have at-risk backgrounds, to succeed in the workforce, in the community, and in their lives. They provide comprehensive support including case management, education support, subsidized employment and job placement.

Services:

  • Case Management: Every young person at YOU Boston has the option of case manager support. Together, they meet one-on-one to establish an Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
  • Summer Youth Employment: Places young people ages 14-24 in paid, supervised opportunities with community-based organizations.
  • Career Readiness Tiers: Pre-Placement training, Career Readiness Cohort, and Internship Placement.
  • Career Pathways: Works with job training providers to help young adults acquire specialized job skills for successful careers. Available to applicants who are 18 years or older and have their high school diploma or HiSET.
