Walk-in clinic

This is a short-term medical respite program for seriously ill homeless men and women – those individuals who are too sick for a shelter but not sick enough for a hospital. The program provides short-term medical and recuperative services that include dermatology, optometry, HIV related services, dental, and behavioral health testing.

Requires a referral from a social worker, an agency case manager or clinician who has appropriate medical information, or a DOC nurse, or some other medically-knowledgeable professional. If you do not have a referral, you may call/walk-in the Jean Yawkey Place to obtain one. See Jean Yawkey Place listing for more information.

Requirements & Restrictions

Must have a referral from a hospital, shelter, clinic, social worker, or other health care service provider. Patients cannot self-refer for admission. Can be given through walk-in clinic.

While every effort is made to provide current and accurate information for the agency descriptions and hours of operation, it is recommended to call the agency to verify the information before visiting.
