Project Bread free FoodSource Hotline is the only comprehensive statewide information and referral service in Massachusetts for people facing hunger. Always free & confidential for all MA residents, their expert counselors are ready to assist callers in 180 languages.

The FoodSource Hotline provides free, expert assistance in understanding what programs are out there to help you go beyond just making ends meet, stretch your food budget, and reliably feed yourself or your family. They can help you access local food resources and federal nutrition programs. They can tell you if you qualify for SNAP – a.k.a. money for groceries – and help you apply, where you can find free meals for your kids, and many other local food programs.

 

Service hours

Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 7 :00pm
Saturday, 10:00am to 2:00pm

Requirements & Restrictions

Available to all Massachusetts residents.
Having a criminal record and/or being homeless does NOT disqualify anyone from being eligible for Food Stamps.

Food Assistance available in 180 languages
