Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee provides information and advice to individuals involved with the Massachusetts mental health system through the MHLAC Intake Line. If you need help or advice, you must call the MHLAC Intake Line and leave a voicemail message.

Things to know beforehand:

  • They do not do intake interviews on a walk-in basis
  • To request an intake by email, click here
  • MHLAC Intake Line is open 24 hours/7 days a week
  • They can only assist with problems or issues that involve Massachusetts
  • They cannot assist anonymous callers
