New England Culinary Arts Training (NECAT) aims to empower adults facing barriers to employment through training in culinary skills, social-emotional development and career-readiness for success and long-term financial stability.

Services: NECAT’s 14-week training program emphasizes culinary skills, life skills and career readiness equally, so that students graduate with culinary competencies, self-confidence and employment savvy. The training curriculum is taught in the following locations:

  • Boston Training Center
  • East Boston YMCA Training Center
  • Behind The Walls Training (Suffolk County House of Correction)
  • Haitian Creole Program

Requirements & Restrictions

All interested students are required to attend an info session. Info sessions are held every Tuesday at 9:30AM at 23 Bradston Street, 2R.
